Dear self, hope you're well, healthy and sound

Dear self, this year's been tough, skies and ground 

Life's taken a turn, for better or for worse 

And you have lived each day fullest all around

Dear self, make a choice today, make one wise

Let your burdens go, from your depths please rise

Speak your mind true, speak your heart afresh

Walk amongst kings, burn them knaves of lies

Dear self, tomorrow's a day away, you're a year older

Take lifes burden on, broaden that shoulder

Be that man you wanted, each moment everyday

Honor and truth, ain't mere words, when a man's bolder

SADNESS

Sadness you are but a friend just near
Why still does my heart yourself fear ?
You're the teacher who righted wrong

Sadness you show whence I need taught
About what I need earn and whats bought
Your visits made my home lone, light dear
